Bus Stop Improvements for FFX County, Springfield ,VA

Subcontractor “Thrive” to remove trees along roadside to prepare installation of concrete retaining wall, sidewalk & Handicap ramps.

Setup Erosion & Sediment controls, safety fence for pedestrian accessibility & beginning excavation for retaining wall.

Prepare sub grade with stone & begin forming retaining wall with wood, rebar & wire ties.

Final look at concrete retaining wall, installation of 5’ sidewalk, curb & gutter & end-wall storm structure for positive drainage.

Final phase of project which consists of resurfacing right lane of Old Keene Mill Rd. & installing thermoplastic pavement markings. We replaced the white picket fence for homeowner affected by the construction and installed new handrail on the retaining wall for fall protection.
